Cassandra graduated from UW-Green Bay with a B.S. in psychology and human development. She also earned her M.S. in Educational Psychology- Community Counseling at UW-Milwaukee. She started her career at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital working with children and adolescence. She now specializes in individual treatment using approaches such as cognitive, behavioral, solution-focused, and narrative therapy.
Cassandra is a certified “handler” to provide animal- assisted therapy with her certified therapy dog, Luka. Animal-assisted therapy provides many social, emotional, and cognitive benefits to help with the treatment of anxiety, depressive and stress disorders. Children with attention, stress/trauma and behavior disorders can also benefit greatly from Pet Therapy.
